This year’s edition of the Spartans is made up of 23 players featuring eight Grade 12s, ten grade 11s and five Grade 10 student athletes.

Suiting up for their second year at the senior level are Luke DeLaBruere (Derby, Vt.), Matteo Paradis (Montreal, Qc.), Nicolas Robillard (Montreal, Qc.) and William Towner (Ayer’s Cliff, Qc.). Playing for their first time in the Red & White soccer jersey of Stanstead College are Gabriel De Santis (Blainville, Qc.), Liam Decoursay (Stanstead, Qc.), Emanuel Ganz (Kuesnacht, Switzerland), Shun Hatano (Tokyo, Japan), Jordan Ilunga (Brossard, Qc.), Frederic Vincent (Blainville, Qc.), Ryder Busto (East Burke, Vt.), Emiliano Maciel (Mexico City), Santiago Prieto Coppel (Mexico City), and Liam Wallace (Montreal, Qc.). Our student manager this year is Christopher Leclerc (Stanstead, Qc.).

Coaches Graham Chandler, Andre Simard and Jeff Standage have been very pleased with the tremendous work ethic, positive attitudes of every player and great team camaraderie displayed at this early point in the season.

The Spartans kick-off their 2023 ETIAC league campaign with an away trip to Massey Vanier Regional High School today, Friday, September 15, 2023 (2:30pm kick-off) before hosting their own 4-team Stanstead Invitational Tournament on Saturday, September 16, coinciding by a senior girls soccer team. Full schedule here

A big highlight for the senior boys will happen after Thanksgiving when they travel to St. Catharines, Ontario, for the CAIS Senior Boys National Soccer Tournament, October 11-14. This will be the first appearance at the CAIS tournament since pre-COVID, so players and coaching staff are looking forward to this great team-bonding event with eagerness.
